Holiday 14 was a departure from our typical Design approach. Print and pattern direction was lead by boardies (instead of moto), and then distilled into cut-and-sew, with a focus on tees and fleece. The designers met at key dates to review all samples (from multiple factories) to make sure pattern and colors were matching. There was a lot of coordination to make sure the final line felt like a collection with one, unifying message.
My role as Design Director extended to coordinating with marketing. I was onsight for all studio photo-shoots, making sure our initial ideas were carried across into workbooks, web and P.O.P
